    15. Elevation (Recorded 13 April 1949, NYC)
    16. Cool Days (Recorded 13 December 1954, NYC)

Mulligan believes what the album notes describe as 1948-1949 recording sessions in NYC are in fact 1946-1947 WCAU air-checks from Philadelphia, and that "Elevation" is an air-check from an engagement at Bop City in New York.

    4. Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea (10 October 1949, NYC)
      Elliot Lawrence and His Orchestra

This recording is identical to the cut on the Elliot Lawrence "Sugar Beat" LP described above as a 1945 session, and which Mulligan believes may be a 1946 air-check. Tercinet notes the 13 April 1949 recording of "Elevation" and adds two cuts arranged by Mulligan for vocalists Rosalind Patton and Jack Hunter, "Gigolette" (Hunter) and "Ev'ry Night Is Saturday Night" (vocal group), released as Columbia 38497 and 38522 respectively. Tercinet notes the 10 October 1949 recording of "Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea " and adds three cuts on which Mulligan plavs and may have arranged (Nelson Riddle is also credited as an arranger for the session) "Your Life Is My Life" (vocal by Danny Ricardo), "Got You Where I Want You" (vocal by Rosalind Patton), and "Ritual Fire Dance," released as Columbia 36829-A, 36829-B, and 38664 (as the B side of "Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea"). Mulligan recalls not playing on the latter three cuts and liaviii arranged "Got You Where I Want You" only after the vocal section, previous parts being Elliot Lawrence's work; he also disclaims arranging "Your Life Is My Life" and "Ritual Fire Dance.
